Diablosport Trinity, good tuner?
Im new to tuners, Diablo sport seems to be a good brand, preset canned tunes as well as room for custom tunes (which I will have to have if I do end up adding heads/cams) I really like this tuner, I know its more expensinve than a lot of others but I like the dash mount and all the little goodies that it has. Has anyone used one?

Although Diablo has a big name in the tuning world, I'd suggest going SCT as well. They're far more commonly used at least on the mustangs and they're also cheaper. I think you wouldn't find yourself screwed in any case, but honestly I think all of the perks that a lot of tuners like to advertise aren't things you'll actually use. You'll upload your tune and take the tuner out of your car and be done with it.

I just like the dashmount and all the extra junk on it, but I did run across a kit http://www.americanmuscle.com/ford-sct-0509v6-kit.html (this is at American Muscle though im sure other places carry the samekit maybe even cheaper) For $564 I can get a Ford Racing COA and a SCT SF3 programmer. Im assuming by the fact that it can recieve custom tunes that it can be tused to tune the engine when heads/cams are installed. I can run on a mild canned tune for a while. Goal is to in the next few months get some paint done ($475) add the duals ($400-500) and add a CAI and Tuner ($600) That will take from 2-3 months depending on how much my "car" job makes.

I was looking at SCTs Livewire and Touchscreen. I think the touchscreen is awesome. But at almost $900 its prob a bit out of my range currently. The livewire is cheaper than the Trinity, its $570 (and maybe after shopping I could find these cheaper) But I like having it all right there. Are they really that impractical?

More important than the handheld tuner are the custom tunes. The canned tunes from Diablo suck and there aren't too many folks writing cutom tunes for the Diablo. Check with AM on that but I also put my hand up for the SCT.

Im looking at eventually adding the stage 3 heads and cams from Supersix (or a caparable setup from somewhere else) Im leaning toward the supersix because they were so fast to reply to any question I asked. They HEAVILY reccommended a guy in Florida and he uses SCT for his tuning. www.vmptuning.com So I guess im going with the SCT bacues I want a good tune that will be the best for my car. Still not sure which one to go with. Im loving the touchscreen but tahts a lot of $$$$ for a tuner.
