Opinions on BFGoodrich G-force T/A KDW?
Here is the BFGoodrich website for tire info:
http://www.bfgoodrichtires.com/tire-...-t-a-kdw-tires
I bought my current tires (Pirelli All-Seasons) 2 years ago, rated at 85,000 miles they have lasted only 45,000, they are getting pretty thin. I can get $100 back on them (because I got the warantee), so Im looking into some new tires for this spring. I was horrified on how the Pirelli all-seasons performed in rain, I feel like im playing "frogger goes skiing" Even when they were new traction was horrible, my little six can smoke the tires (in bone stock form) with the Pirellis, just flat out no grip even in dry conditions, in wet you slide VERY VERY easy.
So, I started looking at BFGoodrich tires, I like them and they were VERY highly reccommended as being very high quality tires, also I LOVE the tread pattern on the G-Force TA KDW, also they are said to be designed to good performance in water, and have come with HGIH reviews for traction, something I will need this year because I plan on taking the stang down to the local drag strip after a tune up, exhaust, tuner, and CIA that i hope to instal this spring.
Id like thought and opinions on them, Kinda related, cant you get pens to outline the letters? Id really like them to be WHITE.

Those are the tires I plan on getting! I have pretty much heard that they are great dry and wet, not so great in snow or on ice (you are in texas though), but they are a bit loud. Now, I won't mind the noise, because I always have music on and, when it's above 40F I always have the windows down, but it is something to think about.

There are a number of forum members running those and they're quite happy with them. Check out the survey and review data on tirerack.com.

But there are also quite a few very good tires available. The Pirelli's aren't rated very highly. Plus, I've don't recall seeing a street tire rated for 85,000 miles.

[QUOTE=03gt04mach1;7327148]Traded them in. I also thought it looked too much like a tractor tire.QUOTE]
Tractor tire? I have seen LOT of tractor tires, owned a couple tractors, even worked at TRACTOR SUPPLY COMPANY, never seen one with tires like that. The tend to have a V shaped lug pattern on them.
Im not really worried about road noise, I plan to add some exhaust, and I listen to music jamming loud most of the time. Also the noise cant be near as loud as what my girlfriends 33in Mud-Terrains do on her Chevy 2500 Z71. Also my old bumpside Ford has some pretty loud road niose, so I think it will be OK.
