Post Headers change sound?

Hy boys, i have a question, maybe a stupid question..

I have a 2005 convertible stang, with xpipe by Pypes Perfomance and 2 muffler by nxt performance.. The sound is very nice and deep, i love it!

I've bought a shorty headers, but it will change the sound of the exhaust?? and I earn any performance? I will maintain the original catalyst, and I have a K&n Panel Air Filter and tune 91 Octane by Diablo Sport Predator.

Thanks, and happy Mustang!

They will free up some power in the mid range but little and gets rid of mostly any high pitch exhaust noise in the mid to upper RPMs.

gains in the mid and top, mostly non-peak gains. Sound is deeper and little if any raspiness. I have them and like everythign they've done for my car.

eBay headers ftw! My buddy has the same ones you do and they are pretty good quality!

Great welds on mine and no rust, they are real stainless steel! I have some videos right after I put them on (headers not broken in/heated up) with a single muffle, havent uploaded videos of my duals yet.

Not the best mic quality. Just like new exhaust, the more miles you gt on it the better it sounds. When it's warmer here I am going to do more videos.
