Default E3 plug failure

Installed E3 plugs about a year ago.Seemed fine for awhile then developed cold start misfire that went away within a minute.Friday morning started car and it was running really rough.Check engine light came on, was number one cylinder misfire.Hoped it would clear up but had to go back to stock plugs. The E3 is a complete waste of money.Anyone else had similar problems?

I've heard a lot of people with multiple cars say E3's are a waste. As much as I want a $9 +4 iridium plug to be awesome, these cars don't much seem to care about how many electrodes there are. Cheap $2 +1 or +2 plugs seem to work best for us.

+1 These engine run just fine without using expensive exotic sparkplugs in them. I personally run Autolite Copper Core 5143 and have for 108,000 miles and have only changed them a couple of times just for grin. And that is with a supercharged application on top of that. I have also read a lot of disappointing post about the E3 sparkplugs.
