Ford Service for gear upgrade?

I've already invested $499 in parts so it's simply labor now. At this point I'm commited to getting this done but don't want to lose my shorts. LOL!

My gear kit was delivered on Friday. I opened it up to check for everything and sure enough it was missing something. They didn't ship the pinion shims which are supposed to be included in the kit. Not sure what the hell happened. Anyway, I Called StangMods and they said they would ship it out. So at this point I can't schedule the installation.

They quoted me $300-350 just to do the installation, which includes the fluids. I'm bringing all the other parts. I suppose that's resonable and I don't have much choice since I surely can't do it myself.

The 3.73 gears and t-lok installation is scheduled for 12/16. I sure as hell hope this goes well. I'm really nervous! They said it would take about 5 hours.
You think I would just be satisfied and leave the damn car alone, but once again I'm playing with fire. :-) Hopefully it will be a GOOD BURN!

Well the gears and T-lok are in! Feels pretty good and no issue so far.
Here's the link to the new thread with pics, etc... The owner has a really cool bulldog named Leroy Brown. He hung around me all day in the office. Lots of fun. ProDyno is a great shop with very nice toys!
