Awesome idea for exhaust (WILL THIS WORK!!!)
Pacetter Long tube headers
MAC H Pipe
Pypes Metallic High Flo Cats
from there custom pipe splitter on both ends of H pipe, that have 2 Pipe exits (basically converts 1 pipe to 2 pipe exits on both sides!
2 1/2 inch piping to 4 SLP loudmouth Axblebacks!
Then I cut 4 cutouts on bumper..
Imagine how awesome that'd sound like! ohh man!
Would this work being modified at an exhaust shop?

I feel like you would lose alooooooooooooot of back pressure..and it'd wind up just sounding ricey..
on a v8, it'd sound great I'm sure..(if you could fit 4 4" pipes under there..doubtful).
but not on a 6.
also....4 loudmouths? don't waste your money. Have an exhaust shop bend the exact same thing with some pipe for like 80 bucks.

I would probably say no considering the clearance and spaces on the mustang are not really exhaust friendly. From what you want, you would have to have 4 over the axle pipes and you would need 2 more sets of hanger brackets. Also guys on this forum will tell you not to touch the cats the car sounds horrible with them removed or with high flow cats. Don't want to be a critic, but the last thing you would want is to invest in an endeavor like that and it not turn out the way you imagined it.

So 4 exhausts won't work at all? What if I had a single 2 1/2 " pipe then split the ends into 2 MAC boomtubes, and welded a piece of thin metal to hold both exhausts with one hanger? or would it look ugly?

That sounds like a not true dual exhaust, which is just for looks. Just go the easy and better route and get true duals. Have them cut the stock pipe right after the cats and have them make an h-pipe or an x-pipe. If you're gonna upgrade the exhaust, might as well do it right the first time or you'll regret it.
