Default 2009 V6 Convertible

I have a 2009 Mustang V6 Convertible. I want to get the grille that comes on the 2005-2009 GT Mustang and install it on mine. Can anyone please tell me whether or not the grille from the 2005-2009 GT Mustang will fit on my 2009 Mustang V6 Convertible?

Thanks for the help. I want to try and get this done as soon as I can because I know someone that will give me a good deal on the GT Grille with the Fog Lamps and the wiring harness as well.

Won't fit. The GT bumper and grill is a different size and shape from the V6 bumper and grill. Only way to get the GT grill on the car is to replace the entire fascia. If you try to put that GT grill on your V6 bumper it will have gaps and spots where it pushes out.

However, go to AmericanMuscle.com and you can buy a grill for the V6 that is styled like the GT grill.

Yes it does fit but will need some modification. I rather get a new grill instead unless you're getting for less. If you want a GT grill, you would cut certain tabs and drill 4 holes and to hold the grill.

Exactly what the others said. As it stands, the grill is not a direct replacement. But the one from AM is close. I have it on mine actually. The only difference is the fog lights are a little closer to the center of the grill (and you'll have to move the horn to accommodate the lights). But personally, I like the look of the more centered lights better.
