Just replaced my Serp. Belt - But the short "Screech" still happening - Belt noise is gone and this only happens when starting the car - Sounds like it's from right in front of the steering wheel - Any clues ? ANYBODY ?

 

did u check the tensioner and pulleys to see if they are in proper working order?

 

Check your harmonic balancer (crank pulley) and see if broken like in the pic.
