Default 05 Hard Start?

My daughters 05 4.0 Mustang is slow to start when it’s cold. Seems like it takes a long time cranking to start. (Almost like a cold diesel). When it’s warm it starts right up. Not throwing any codes. Anyone else ever have this problem?

Changed wires and plugs about 10k ago.

thanks!

The what? No such thing on a mustang of any year. That type of part is usually found on older German vehicles.

Yes there is! It might have another name but it's the fuel injection equivalent of a choke, basically it provided more fuel at start up when the engine is cold
