Im needing a new set of tires badly. I see Nittos at what seems to be a decent price at

Its like 160 bucks for Nitto NT 555R drag radials.

Now the questions are:

A. Are these the nittos that everyone runs? I see alot of vids with people running 555s but I thought they were like 200 bucks a piece.

B. Im guessing you run the radials on the back, and the regular ones on front? Or do you run all DRs? I have no experence in this area.

C. Will these be totally useless on rain? This car is only a weekend driver, but I dont want to get stuck 200 miles away from home when it rains.

d. What about the oversizing they have on their website? Anyone done it on their stang? I have different size than required on my 88 bird, but thats a bit different

I've never had Nittos so I can't tell you much about them. FRom what I do know though, they are probably among the stickiest tires for the Mustang and they do not last long. My car is an everyday driver and I got Goodyear Eagle F1 GS D3's. They are great; hook well, have ungodly wet traction and dry traction. But if you only do weekends, you can probably live with the Nittos.
