To me they are an off brand tire. I like BFG's. I have seemed to have better luck with name brand over off brand. You get what you pay for, but sometimes you can get a good deal if you go to a private sellers. I would def stay away from Wal-mart. They tend not to carryyour higher end tire. Have the deal explain the treadwear, stickiness, and tread in the rain. He should know all this, in fact he should be an expert since it is his job. If you don't feel your getting everything you want, go somewhere else, there are a ton of dealers. I would avoid having fill you tires with anything but normal air. The new thing is nitrogen I believe, but don't quote me on that. It is supposed to be a bigger molecule so your tires should leak less. BS. They also say your tires will run cooler with it. Who cares. Unless your running th 24 hours of sebring, it really doesn't matter. They charge about 16 bucks for 4 tires. peace.

there are a couple reasons for the nitrogen that was explained to me - the gas doesnt carry (or form) condensation like air can, so 1.) the tire pressures will remain pretty much the same, as there is no humidity in the air in the tires to change it. no more having to check tire pressure every month like you are supposed to. 2.) because there is no humidity, it wont damage the inside of the rims as well.

im stating these by memory, so im sure i mis-explained something. the guy knew his stuff tho.

I've used Falken and Sumitomos and had no problems. If you're not doing a lot of overdriving they should be fine. I was told there are only a handful of tire manufacturers that make all the tires and slap a different name on them, but it is basically the same tire using the same mold.
