Default VRS Catted-X + Borla Cat Back too loud?

I was all set to order a VRS catted-x pipe and I thought I might add the Borla cat-back but I was concerned with the volume. I don't want it loud and upset the neighbors. I also don't want to hear a lot of exhaust sound inside the car.

Will the Borla catback be too loud?

Then I stumbled on a MagnaFlow catted-x and catback for a hard-to-resist price. Would I be happier with the MagnaFlow's volume?

And is there a performance difference?

I don't think it will be too loud at all.

Either one the Magnaflows or Borla Catback + Xpipe will give you a real nice sound, and will not be too loud.
Just make sure you stay away from the Borla Stingers or Magnapacks if you don't want too lou, because those 2 just metioned are resonator type mufflers which are close to hollow and will produce A LOT of sound.

If you stick with the chambered type mufflers like the regular Borlas or Magnaflows, it will sound great, without being too loud.

I like the tone of Borla's myself... If I had to choose another catback I would probably get that one.... But thats just me...

I've got the pypes violator catback w/VRS catted x pipe. It's not very loud IMO unless you get on it. The catted X-pipe took alot of the bark out of the exhaust.

Are the Borla chambered (are they called Turbos?) mufflers louder than the stock Mustang exhaust? I'm in the same boat, I want a louder exhaust, but I live in a pretty quiet neighborhood and leave for work kinda early in the morning so I don't want to upset the neighbors. I want to stay away from resonators, but I didn't know how loud the chambered Borlas were.

Thats a great question. OK to you may be too loud and too gay for me, vice versa. Pretty much if u have a catted midpipe its not going to be superloud. Now if u run LM's then yea its going to be loud, but nothing like an o/r mid.
