Cobra Diablo Tuner quick question
My friend has a 04 cobra that is pretty much worked to the bone....my question is. he has a Diablo tuner theres a feature on the diablo to TURN OFF rear o2 sensors. will his tuner plug into my 04 GT? reason i ask is because im putting pro-chamber offroad X pipe on my car tonight, to accompany the Loud Mouth 1's, and there arent any rear o2 with the prochambers. im assumeing that the OBD II ports on the cobra and GT are the same? correct me if im wrong
My second question is would i also be able to use his tuner to go to a Dyno, and have them upload a tune to his tuner. reflash my ECU, and then go from there adjusting timing and A/F ratios while its on the dyno.
any help would be apriciated i want to do it tonight.

RE: Cobra Diablo Tuner quick question
His diablo tuner will not work on your car... i dont think anyway.. due to the fact that diablo sells different programmers for 03/04 cobra. It has special options that only 03/04 cobras have such as +/- pulley size
You can try it and find out if it works or not. Tell your friend to reinstall stock factory tune then you can try the tuner if it works then it works. As for the dyno thing. Depends on what the shop uses as far as software. Most shops are converting to SCT tuning software....

Diablo for 03/04 Cobra

RE: Cobra Diablo Tuner quick question
I am not sure if the ports are the same on the two cars ( I would assume they are) but you will run into a problem. The flash tuner "marries" itself to the car you put the tune on. Your friend would have to put the stock tune back on his car before you could make any changes to yours. Then, after you change the tune on yours at all, your friend will not be able to make any changes to his now stock tune unless you return the stock tune back to yours. Diablo was smart enough to realize everyone would share tuners if they didn't do something about it.
