Default Intake questions...

Time for me to put together an intake system...my first question is what is the best size and manufacturer throttle body for my 99 Mustang with a mac offroad h pipe, and mac catback. my second question is what is the "plenum" i've been reading about? should i get a new TB and plenum? who makes it and where to get it? secondly what brand intake do u recommend? is their any benefits to a certain brand? i was looking into the roush to be get something most people around here dont have, but i dislike the fact that it's not polished and i think it looks better under the hood. any and all help is appreciated.

Default RE: Intake questions...

dragon, the most expensive and most efficient.

TB is of course, the where the accelerator pedal / cable pulls on a peice of plastic (or gear stuff in some high-end TB/s) moves a flap of metal on a hinge type thing, and allows air into the plenum/upper intake, and the rest is science

The Plenum (on your stock GT) is the metal thing with the running pony on it, It transfers air from the TB to the upper intake :-p
