Default Steering Rack

i think my rack n pinion is on its way out, Its leaking and now it makes a squeakin sound when the wheel is turned. Ive heard this is pretty common for these cars but didn't find any posts about it. My question is...Is there a better rack to replace the stock one with? Cheaper aftermarket one? Racing one?
Is it hard to replace?

Thanks

not difficult to replace but usually requires an alignment one. I saw in the summit catalogue they have one that is non power steering but you lose like 30lbs.

the weight savings would be sweet, but IDK if driving w/o the power steering would be ok or not, I bet 3 point turns are a PITA. How many hours for an install would ya say?
