what would you reccomend in the catted form to go with flows?
Well with flows in the catted form I would personally recommend an X-pipe. IMO, I think that a H-pipe would drone out the car even more, and I think with the X, you may get rid of a little bit of that drone. H will make it deeper though and flows + H-pipe will make it REAL deep... So it depends on what sound your looking for.

I am just NOT a big fan of H-pipes at all. I don't want to put anything resembling stock back on my car. X-pipe is just much more free flowing, and I heard from owners that H-pipes pop A LOT. Which I can see because of all the pressure build up.

Its really a tough decision... IMO, X for the win.

all right i'll start the search for an X pipe. I downloaded a clip of an 01 mustang with a bbk catted X and flowmaster catback and it sounded fuggin sexy. I know the newer stangs have more HP but they all sound about the same.

You made up my mind, catted X saving up for it now! I would love to buy a used one cuz 400 is a bit steep, but i don't wanna be swapping pipes when it comes time for emissions, and also the stock one just simply blows
