Sequential Turbos on a 4.6?
I know this may not be the perfect place to post, but to justify its position here this forum see's alot more attention and I am curious about the 4.6.
Ne way on to the question. Has anyone heard of sequentially turbocharging a 1999-2004 mustang, if yes, does any one make a kit? I have seen singles and twins, but non of the afore mentioned. O, and just somewhat of a general question, what is the difference between single, twin, and twin sequential. Any and all information is not only welcome but greatly appreciated. Thanks

RE: Sequential Turbos on a 4.6?
sequntial turbo's are when two turbos are connected to each other and at low rpm's only one turbo is engaged then at high rpm's the second turbo comes on. They come on the 93-95 rx7 and the 93-98 supra turbo's. They were made so that you could have good power down low with no turbo lag and good power up top as well. No ive never seen a sequential turbo kit for a mustang. I dont think they really need it, mustangs dont have problems with power down low.
