when i got my car someone had just straights on it with an h pipe and it sounded like the meanest mud truck around. i had dual flows welded on cuz he threw a set in. they sounded damn good because they had a really tight sound, and me and a friend got talkin about drag cars and i liked the look of having no pipes out the back so i put turn downs on it. it made it sound like an old 5.0 car or a 350 chevy. when i installed my new gears, to make the install easier i cut the pipes off even with the muffler and now it has that tight sound back that i missed and its loud as hell. i love the way it sounds, and its quite a bit louder than my friends 03

I have an 04 gt with an o/r h-pipe and magnapacks w/o tailpipes. its not as loud as most out there. i hear some at the track and i'm like man i wish mine sounded like that, but when i really do hear mine it sounds like a beast. I dont know if putting turn downs on it will change anything but if someone can tell me about that it'd be a big help. but yea i wont vote because i like the sound of all different mustangs and theres nothing like it.
