Calling Mach 1's

lol no- if I remember right he went through nothing less than hell to get that eaton on there. I was looking into buying a used eaton for the mach but then after researching it found that you need about 75-100 other small parts to get the conversion to work. Most of these deal with the relocation of the alternator, and belt re-arrangement. You also have to modify the shaker to get it to fit. It looks and works baddass, but there is a lot more to it than you would think.

Your stock motor is safe till about 450rwhp. Some people run more, but it's playing with fire.
Now, a forged setup with a single turbo, 800hp won't be out of the question. It'll take a ton of supporting mods to do it...

I seem to remeber someone making some insane 03 cobra like numbers on a supposedly stock mach 1 motor, but I cannot remember who or where.
Anyone shed light on this???

5 speed machs have forged cranks, while autos have cast cranks. Everything else (rods, pistons) are the same -crap-.

mach compression ratio is higher, so a shot of giggle gas would be better and cheaper then a supercharger which you could run 6-8 psi on safely for a DD
