Got a problem need help bad
yes after they are engaged the tranny starts making the noise, I am not sure if the noise is there when the clutch is engaged b/c my car is hella loud but when I am coasting down the hill the noise is very easy to hear and as the car starts going faster the noise increases. I was told it might be gear lash, and I was wondering what gear lash is exactly it.
I have an 04 gt and I put an alluminun fly wheel in it and i have a short throw shifter. I had new sincros put in about the same time and my car makes the same noise that you described. It seems like all of the alluminum doesnt had back the noise as good as steel.
try running a better quality fluid. What brand dexron III did you add, if you mind??? try a name brand regular or a synthetic
i'm gonna run cheap stuff for a few hundred miles and let any crap from the rebuild get in my fluid, then i'm draining it and adding amsoil
(also have a T45)
