Well for you headers I can make some recommendations since I just did mine.

First of all, Why Chrome? I think most members would agree that you should have gone Ceramic Coated. Unless you plan on changing out your headers in a year or so, chrome is going to rust down to the bone real quickly.

Other than that, I would HIGHLY recommend:

-Stage 8 Locking Header Bolts (Normal header bolts that come with the headers will come loose. If you have to go back in and tighten them to fix a leak or something, it is going to be a PAIN IN THE ***.)

- Percy Header Gaksets (Same type of thing. They gaskets BBK gives you, are CARDBOARD! Get some aluminum steel gaskets to prevent leaks and future problems.)

How hard was it to install your headers? Did you have to jack the motor up?

I went with chrome to save a little money. This car is only driven on the weekends and never in the rain. I have only put 2000 miles on it in the past 7 months.

They are completely worthless on our 2V cars. 3-5 dyno proven RWHP, thats it.

As far as the install, unless your REALLY know what you are doing, pay to have it done. You need to lift the car and the engine... My professional installer had A LOT of trouble getting them in. 6 hours of labor.

My buddy has a rack and all the tools we would need so maybe we can handle it. So your installer had to jack up the motor?

Yea jacking up the motor is a must. He said he had a lot of trouble getting around the passenger side and everything. He said the driver side wasnt too bad.

Grant it I have LT's though too, so even though headers are a PITA to install regardless, you may have a little easier time.

But you definitely need to get under the car and get the motor in the air a little no doubt.
