Gass

I have a1998 Gt4.6 convertable that knocks or pings if I run anything butt 91 octane. Is there a mod that I can do to eather get better gass milage or ruduce the octane requierment.

on a 98 not sure how to do it myself. You can always buy a handheld tuner and do it yourself, But it's gonna set you back 375-400 or so. I would suggest buying the gear/tuner option for 459.00 through http://www.rpmoutlet.com/newv8m.htm

Damn dude, I hope you don't live in the US because that's some terrible spelling you got.

Anyways, has your car had a PI head/cam swap that you are unaware of? Has your timing been advanced? If not you need to do a good tune up, consider some sea-foam and get the car running right.
