Camshafts

RE: Camshafts
What are you going to do with the car?
A radical set of cams will only do so much and can actually reduce your power if you don't have the airflow capabilities to feed the engine.
One of the last things you change should be the cams, because different combinations of performance parts work best with one cam profile,a different combination works best with another. You don't want to have blower cams with a port and polish engine,or stage three cams with no modifications. The engine won't make all it's potential power and could even be a nightmare to try to drive on the street.

I would defanitely make sure you have full bolt-ons before you do cams so you see the biggest gains right when you get them. Is the car your daily driver?? Do you plan on forging your bottom end?? If you have big hopes for the car, I would suggest some Stage 2 vt cams, but if your just looking for the sound of cams and a little bit of a hp jump, just get VT stage 1's.
