Ok, I have full bulton's on my gt. Once I get cams, internals, heads, s/c, how long can I expect it to last assuming I take good care of it except for a few races every now and then?

As long as youre not beating the **** out of it all the time the car will last as long as you want.

Get some pullies man, think about an electric water pump as well, they're cheap bolt-ons.

I ran a 305 all done up in my 1978 Formula. REDLINED AT 6800RPMS
I used a 289 crank, shorter conn. rods, domed pistons, decked heads
The car was a 12.1@123mph on street tires
I ran the car hard but not to point of abuse
Put 35,000 miles on it. Never burned any oil, ran great when I sold it.
If you stay under 500hp and can run on pump gas you should be fine
If you run more or need to use high octane race fuel, your car will only last
like 20 or 30k miles. Cause you know your gonna romp on it every time your in it.
