With setup, you should be much more competitive without spending a fortune.
Mach 1 handling kit (includes springs, dampers, and sway bars) $379.95
Maximum Motorsports Panhard bar, $339.95
Maximum Motorsports Full Length Subframe connectors $139.95
Maximum Motorsports Lower Control Arms $259.95
Maximum Motorsports Caster Camber Plates: 199.95

Get a really good alignment. (maximum caster, -1.5 degrees camber, 1/16" toe in.

Total Parts Cost: $1319.75

that wa kinda over my head, maybe i read it too fast, im gonna stay mostly stock untill i can lap the car better.
the key is to
"fix the driver before you fix the car" so ive heard.
Good mantra. I can't wait to learn to drive. At the event in Feb. a more experienced guy hopped in my car and did nearly two seconds better than me his first time out.

If you want to stay mostly stock, just upgrade the struts and tires. That is all that the yellow Mach1 had. In fact he probably was completely stock except for the kuhmo 710s
