Default Coolant Light

Every once in a while this warning light comes on. I don't believe the coolant is low or that the car is overheating. Any ideas?

My 99 GT did the same thing it was an on and off thing for a while but then finally it just stayed on and it is still on to this day but my levels are fine. When i got my trans fluid changed last month they told me that its probably just a bad sensor or some debris got stuck in the sensor. They tried to use an air compressor to blow anything that was stuck out but it did'nt work but i am gonna have my radiator flushed before summer and they can get in for a closer look.

My 00 GT does the same, its a faulty sensor, and you cant buy the sensor. i beleive to get a new sensor you have to get a hole new resavor from ford to much money if you ask me.
