alright so I just got my bumper inserts for my car and my t handle shifter. Inserts are drying now so far so good. But, the t handle shifter is not going so smooth. Turns about twice then stops. directions say a little bit of sharded aluminum will come out but that doesn't sound right. I don't want to strip the shifter itself. anyone have this shifter or any issues with it? To my knowledge the shifter and old **** are stock. Maybe a different thread # not sure what is the stock thread? Thanks for any and all advice in advance.

so its just a shifter **** not the whole shifter? if it wont turn any more than twice you should re tap it to the stock threading, sounds like its too small.

i got a Hurst shfter handle and put it on my stock shifter handle about a year ago. it didnt fit right, even tho the packing lable and the guy behind the counter said it would fit. it is sitting in my garage collecting dust now. i didnt like it, it wasnt real comfy. im a big fan of the stock handle.
