Default replacing oil pan..fairly easy job?

so the hole i tapped for the vortech oil drain has a really really small leak that i can live with for now, but id like to replace the oil pan this summer, and make a better hole/seal for the drain. just looking at it makes me not want to doit. how much time would you think itll take me to swap in a new one and gasket?

not too much time at all. Once the oil is drained, I assume you have access to an engine hoist. Just un bolt the motor mounts and jack it up about 3-4" and then un bolt the pan. I did this to mine when my tranny was out to replace the gasket (pan is still fine). Only thing though is with the trans in, the back bolts will be a bit more of a PITA but it's not that tough.

what ende dup working was i had the hoist with a chain to the balance bar w/ two hooks, and then I got two high strength cables and wrapped those around the exhaust manifolds and lifted there. worked perfect
