Just curious as to what alarm, if any, everyone has installed on their Mustang?? Most people are telling me to go w/ Clifford but wanted other opinions.

I have and would suggest clifford.. I had a viper before and its not bad but I like the clifford better

I have a viper alarm in mine... just trunk popper, and door locks... I plan on installing an auto start in it when I get the money... It's a great alarm

yeah. Viper is good. The alarm shop I got my clifford installed by told me that clifford and viper are owned by the same company.. and that clifford is just a high end viper.

Clifford, Python, and Viper are all under Directed Electronics. You cannot go wrong with any of the three although they are kinda pricey. You may want to post this in the Audio/Electronics section too btw...but anyway...I have been advocating for Shelby Security Systems on every Alarm question on here. I am going to get one eventually. I was going to go with the Clifford, but my instatller told me about the new Shelbys (Carroll Shelby) and how they have pretty much every feature the Cliffords do (and some the Cliffords don't) but for about 200 bucks cheaper. The 2-way pager Alarm with EVERYthing hooked up BUT remote start (from him) is 500 out the door installed...WITH remote start (again from him) it is going to run me 700 installed...and that is with every single extra sensor and all that hooked up...again from him he told me th Clifford RSX would be about 875 with remote start installed. Just my 2 cents
