wzup im new to this forum and i was wondering if any can help with a question. i have an older mustang so if i am in the wrong forum let me know. i need to know: i just bought a new T5 trans and new clutch. now i had a 4 speed before, so first i had to find a bellhousing that fit now that i did that im running into the problem of a cross member. this is my first time taking out the transmission so bare with me. where can i finda cross member to fit in order to hold the T5 trans in. Has anybody done this swap? 4speed to T5?

 

No, but this swap is becoming so common that the crossmembers are readily available. Just do a search on the internet for them. Or there is a mustang magazine that deals mostly with the older ones (forgot the name) that is constantly covering those kind of swaps.
