I am working on a plate to move my shift handle back closer to where I sit right now and I have the wireing for the TC but no switch. It may be an option where they just add a button. but I think all of them have it or Y would they do the wireing.
All mustangs have the vert top harness as well, but last I checked (which was this morning) I didn't have a vert.

dang, lots of people here who think they know what they're talking about....

1) if you dont have a traction control "off" button, you dont have TC. FACT!
2) some years (I think 03-04) TC was an extra cost option. not all GTs have TC. I think the "premuim package" get's you TC
3) It says right in the owners manual that TC uses a combination of spark, timing, and brakes (using the ABS) to control wheel spin.

I dont know about u guys, but If I drop 16K on a GT, I read the fricken instruction manual. lol

You'd read it if you got a new coffee maker right?

you can have abs without t/c, but you can't have t/c without abs.

and the t/c doesn't use the actual brakes (i.e. it will not apply brake pressure), only the sensors for the wheels, I believe.

the convertible top harness... the only reason i know this is to do the fog light mod... take out your shift console cover... and the harness that is on the left that is attached goes to your convertible top... unless you don't have one which in that case I have no idea where it goes, but it's still there.

I have the trixx shifter and am 6' so to fit I have to sit back and have to reach a bit to shift. It's not bad but it bugs me so i am correcting the problem. The stock was the same way.

LMAO RTFM. good one.

I get jollies from reading instruction manuals, then I get more jollies making people,(who dont read it and ask dumb questions) look stupid.

It's how I get off, that's just me.
