Default Predator Tuning problems

I just got a predator tuner the other day. I was trying to install the diablo tune this morning, but it wouldn't let me upload the Original Back-up. It says to turn off the ignition and I did, then turn it on again. When I turn on the ignition (and No I did not turn on the engine), it says that the tuner is not reading that the car ignition is on. It says that this can happen if the car already has a performance tune. If the car already has a tune, could I force the factory tune on it and upload the new performance tune? When I tried to force the factory tune, it says that it is recommended that only the dealer do that. What should I do?

You can have the dealer re flash the computer. This will wipe out whatever is in there and load the stock tune back in.

Does that cost a lot of money? Can't I just install the Factory Tune that comes in the Predator tuner? If it already has a performance tune how do I know if it's better than the diablo tune?

The predator doesnt have the stock tune in it. When you plug it in your car it reads the stock tune then stores it. Then you install the performance tune. I really dont know what it costs to reflash the computer.
