If you have stock heads and you are looking for a substantial gain..no.

If it's the only way you can pass emissions...gotta do what ya gotta do man!

I have no clue why my post was put here, but anyways..

If you did a PI swap and didn't tune it...durrr

Well if you did it correctly, you should notice a big difference actually. PI heads are supposed to add 50-60 horses, which is about 25% more, which should definitely be enough to notice. It wouldn't hurt to have your computer tuned since you're putting more air through your engine now. Did you do the intake as well?

Your not seeing any gains? From everything I have heard/saw it should be worth quite a bit. Stock vs stock it is said that the 98 and below will have more HP after the swap because of higher compression ratios.

Sounds like you need some dyno time. Something must not be right here, it should be quite a noticable gain.

Well in that case, if your timing is off then that could cause a big problem. You're supposed to mark the cam gears and chain before you pull it all off so you can put it back together exactly the same way. You're lucky you didn't trash a valve. I would definitely have the timing checked and reset if it needs to be. Maybe that's your problem. Also, did you torque the bolts down in sequence and to the right specs?

well if the timing is off wouldnt it run bad or different, its running liek i put my stock heads back on but i know that they are 2001 heads and intake manifold because i researched the number on the heads them selfs but i torqued the heads in each order there where like 8 different steps to each bolt so i still dont know
