Can you put in a T3 or T4 turbo in a 2002 Mustang GT. I talked to some guy on this website and he said that you can't put turbos in 2002 Mustang GT's, but the T3/T4 turbos say they can go into any car. Is this True?

 

you can put any turbo in any car, just some are not a good match. a t3/t4 turbo in a 02 mustang would be fine

maybe a little small, my brother has that turbo on his 4 banger 240sx, prolly best off going big single turbo or two small turbos

check out http://www.jmsproductsinc.com/Performance.html they have sleeper 94-04 kits, where the turbo(s) mount in the quarter scoop area. Click on the link I provided and you can see pictures of it. it's a pretty high price for these kits, but the kits come complete.

twin turbos are to AVOID TURBO LAG =P.

 

a t3/t4 is just fine for 02gt. but i would look into a straight T4 (T66) to puton your gt
