i got a starting prob on my 98 cobra, chk. out and replaced the starter, still wont do! chk all the grounds and wiring for corrosion all is good!!! some times if i slam the hood it'll start right up. does anyone know if anything is tied into the starting wiring system!!!!???? any help would be good. oh yea relay has been replaced too soooo....

when you turn the key do you get a click , any compression? is it just dead ? more info please.

Mine was doin the same damn thing the other day i dont know what was goin on....took the alternator off, that wasnt it, checked the battery, that wasnt it . Then i got it jumped off with a new battery and later that day it started right up and i havent had a problem since. When i turned my key to start it all the power just left the whole car it was dead as a door ****....im still using the same battery that was in it when it was dead though is whats weird

Had a similar problem...was a stuck air bypass valve.
