Default A/F Gauge owners

Does anyone have an autometer A/F gauge? Mine says my car runs richer whenever I turn on the A/C, does that make sense to anyone? Does that even sound right?

I may be wrong, but it could be reading the extra fuel that is being used to run the A/C. It kinds makes sense to me.

i dont have one...but like dsg said...it seems to make sense why it would do it. shouldnt be that much of a difference...but using a/c does require more fuel i believe...thus the decrease in gas mileage.

you should be bragging about what small differences in the a/f ratio your gauge can detect lol [8D]

Where did you splice the wire, Pin # 60 at PCM a gray wire with a light blue stripe or pin # 87 a red wire with a black stripe?

That makes sense, but the A/F gauge is spliced with the O2 sensor which is after the headers so I dont know how it can tell, it goes up about 3-5 seconds after turning the A/C on, and it goes up a noticeable difference.
