Was it running this way, then you changed the plugs? Or did you change the plugs and it started running this way? I've had bad plugs from the factory, so new does not necessarily mean good...

 

i put autolites 764 platinums in 2 k ago..... ran good for about a month... a few days ago it was running like crap i changed the plugs and it stopped now its doing it again just not bad..... like tonight on my way home i went into 5th gear at 1700 rpms and it did it bad... but around 2500 in any gear its pretty good...

 

i just had the same exact thing happen to me the other day, it didnt throw a light for a few days, then it finally threw a light and i put it on the scaner, it ended up being injector #6 was stuck open, so tomarrow i need to go buy an injector, plug, and boot from ford, BTW do you smell fuel real strong at idle sometimes?

mine has been doing it on and off for 4000 miles..........yes i smell gas every now and then but i have no cats.....

 

Just for the hell of it disconnect the battery for 1/2 hour, you never know, its worth a shot and its free

 

I tried that LOL
