can someone please help me find it!?
To start it off, I loked at the stickies, so if I missed it alright my mistake, don't need **** for it...but alright, the 5.0 guys have helped me out a lot with my questions, hopefully u guys can help me out too!
Anyways, I have a 5.0 and have been flirting with an SC/turbo. But recently I've been SUPER intrested in a 03'-04' cobra swap. Now I googled the damn thing, nothing. Made a post in the 5.0 section?? Still nothing, except I got a link but it was mostly for how to install and wat not! They told me you all could save the day though. I looked on ebay but I don't know how trustworthy a guy in arizona or something is.
Bottom line: where can I get an 03'-04' cobra engine??
Thanks in advance

97mustang and others: a junkyard?? I know a lot of guys on the 5.0 forum go there but hmm, is it such a great idea? I mean I'm new to the modding scene but is there quality stuff there? Maybe its the word "JUNKyard" that throws me off. Maybe someone can help me out with an understanding.
98mustang: do I wanna buy a used engine? I mean I'm already going to spend a boatload of money, what would you do, new or used?

Junkyards have a huge variety of things, and keep in mind, a lot of the newer cars that end up in junkyards are because of accidents, not necessarily from mechanical failure.
Would I buy an engine at a junkyard, Hell yeah!! I've had before, and never had a problem.

you are always welcome to TRY looking in a junkyard for a Terminator motor,, but what do you think the odds are you will find one??
im sure there are TONS and TONS of enthusiasts who are itching to get their hands on the same motor from a salvage/junkyard type of place.. lol..good luck with that..
why not consider an older DOHC 4.6 and build it up, could probably get one for ALOT cheaper, and build it up to the same or close to the same specs as you'd planned for the already s/c'ed one

Especially for what the S/Ced Cobra engines are going for.. $8k, $10k, even more??
It's amazing what some people will pay for it.. Hell, I'd throw the rest of the money in and get the rest of the car if I could..
