Toys Have arrived
Hi all..
Thanks for all the people that replied to my very first post to the forum. I installed my gears and short throw shifter.
What a difference.
Yesterday the mail arrived with my underdrive pullies, accufab TB/Plenum and a CAI from K&N.
My question is.. Did I make a mistake getting the K&N instead of the JLT or are they all pretty much the same?
Next month I start on the exhaust and lowering the car. (2003gt vert).
and 2nd.. Should I purchase one of those tuners or wait until I get all the bolt-on's on the car first?
Thanks
Laz

All the CAI's are the same. You'll see a 1-2 HP variation between them but it's nothing you'll ever feel... you probably won't be able to feel the difference when you put the CAI on over stock.
If you haven't corrected your speedometer for the gears, get the tuner to do that now. When you get around to doing your exhaust, if you go with an off-road mid pipe, you'll need the tuner to turn off your rear O2 sensors... if you need either of those things done, get the tuner first.
