I have Packs and I don't think they are raspy at all. You can't go by soundclips. If possible, you need to hear them in person.

I have flows 40 series with a MAC H and am happy with it. Sounds nice and throaty. BUt could also be a little louder IMO.

really anyone with flows is going to tell you go flows, and vice versa with the maganflows. you can just weld in some flowmaster mufflers and keep the stock exhaust. each one of the mufflers is like 60 bucks on ebay, vs the 500 something dollars your going to pay for the whole mangnaflow catback, not to mention if you dont have a cut off saw, then your stock exhaust isnt coming off unless youd rather drop your whole entire rear end haha. i have flows and i love them, but everyone has different tastes, so you should go with what you think sounds the best... go to mustang exhaust.com and listen to those clips

I put flowmaster 40s on my last car and decided to try them again on the stang. I don't plan on going to a race track or drag strip anytime soon so I'm not concernced with the power I might gain. I just got the car four days ago and for right now I'm happy just to have the car. If I don't like the flows, I can always take them off, sell them for dirt cheap, and try something els; I can always change things. Thanks for everyone's opinion and and info.

I have flowmasters and I dont like them.. You can buy mine when I buy a new cat-back exhaust. I hate how they get loud at 2000rpm and then mellow out after that. there not consistant. All flowmasters sound the same on any car. I am going to go with some Magnaflows of SLP.
