you should do this...this guy is selling his Cobra...they're REAL Ford rims (2000 Cobra R) that he had powdercoated black with the red stripe...OMFG!

edit...man when the FR500 show car came out i wanted those rims SO bad...but i'm kinda over em now...same with the black DD bullitts...i've wanted them for SO long and never got em because 1) no money and 2) those rims don't deserve to be installed on a V6 Auto....that i kinda got over em and want to do something different...not exactly sure but it will definitely be after i have a V8 Stang

actually the reason i am all over the black fr500s is b/c i had chrome wheels..............................when i had a 98 chevy s-10. they are a pain to keep clean IMO...i got tired of it taking me 1 1/2 hours to mothers chrome polish my wheels on top of the 1 1/2 hours it took me to wash and detail the rest of the truck.

18 chrome saleens. those who dont like chrome and are all over teh black rims are jut going with the fad. chrome is classic, always will be. your choice though.

right on. I think black rims just look like a blob of black, you cant see the shape of the wheel very well and there is no distinction between the tire and rim. If you were spending that much time doing the wheels, you are a way better man than I. I wouldnt have the patience. post pics when you get em on.
