Default Tires and rims

I tried to do a search on tires/rims but didn't come up with anything substantial.

If this question has already been asked a million times, forgive me.

I have a 2002 Mustang GT Vert with the stock 17" bullet rims with 245/45/17 tires.

The car also has eibach pro-kit lowering springs.

I need two new tires soon so I was thinking if I get wider rears, will it work and will the wider tires rub, etc.

I like the 17X10.5 inch deep dish rims from Mustang Tuning but, I think, with the lowering springs, the tires would rub easily.

I have noticed with the eibach springs, my car scrapes the pavement now, when it never did before.

I certainly do not want the tires to rub at all when going over bumps.

What do you guys suggest? Go with 275/40/17's on the 10.5" rims? Just use the stock rims but with the wider tires? I saw Mustang Tuning had 315/35/17 tires. Who is using the 17X10.5" rims with 315/23/17 tires and lowering springs? Do the tires rub? There doesn't appear to be much clearance for wider tires in the rear.

The car is a daily driver and I'm over 40, so I don't want to be in the weeds and the tires rubbing.

Thanks for any help.

you will be able to use 17x10.5's with the 315's with no tire rub

Even when going over bumps? Is that what you have?
