2000 GT Check Engine light Flashing? Help!

RE: 2000 GT Check Engine light Flashing? Help!
Flashing check engine light = major misfire... The code doesn't stick if the misfire goes away though. You may have some water or a loose connection somewhere related to spark... this'll be near impossible to find though. You said your A/F ratio was fine while it was misfiring, meaning fuel was probably not being sprayed in on the cylinders that were misfiring.
Next time, go to AutoZone before this misfire happens if you can, and just toy around with the RPM in the parking lot, and have the code scanner ready, once you get it to misfire, check the code... but I think it's only going to tell you which cylinders it's happening it, but it's a start, right?
At the very least, don't spray the 75 shot while it's misfiring... that would be bad You can get away with it otherwise, the 75 shot is pretty docile. You don't even need to move back your timing for it.

The check engine light finally stayed on, the coil pack on cylinder 5 was failing causing misfire, thanks for all the help. I sprayed a fifty shot after i replaced the coil and it feels ooohh so good.
