When I bought my GT

When I bought my GT
When I bought my GT in Nov. '03 there was a $6,000 rebate on an 2003 GT & a $5000 rebate on a 2004 GT. I even found a brand new 2002 that the sales man would sell me for $17,900 (and maybe could have gotten a couple of bucks taken off that!!!
I ended up w/ a 00 GT w/ 16,000 miles for $12,800 (this was 3 years ago mind you).
Seems like it's held it's value well.
Wonder why? F'd up economics @ the ford plant I guess.

I don't agree about it holding it's value well. An 98 or newer Trans Am, Camaro/Corvette have held their value well.
I was stuck with my 02 GT longer than I wanted because the value was dropping faster than I could pay it off, and I got it $500 under book to begin with & not including my down payment.

I don't know Dan. I think the re-sale value of used Mustangs is par of the bow-ties. Especially if you originally bought a used Mustang, you can do a turn around on one without loosing to much if any.

Also depends on where you live. Here in San Diego, Mustangs seem to hold their value well, at least better than the F-bodies. I've seen newer, plain-jane GT's selling for the same as somewhat older SS's and WS6's.
Which will end up being good news for me...
