while my car is going 40 mph or faster, it will stall. if its slower than 40 or sitting still, it idles perfectly fine. im guessing it has something to do with all the air coming in the shaker hood? maybe the IAC or MAF is bad and not sensing the extra air? any help appreciated thanks.

Take it to the ford dealer and tell them to fix it if your under warranty still. It could be the IAC or something in the intake or it could also be fuel related.
