Default 97 GT wheel questions

I recently bought a 97 gt. I'm considering buying new rims and tires. I'd like to fill the wheel wells. Can I use 20x8.5 +20mm wheels front and back with 245-30-20 yokahama avs es100 tires. I'd like to keep em under the wheel wells and be clear for turning and bumps. I'd like any or all comments and pics if you have em.

Thanks
Dale

Yes you can, but if you show up at any car show that consists of any muscle cars...They will all stare and poke fun at you for having ridiculous 20's. There's really no reason for that on a mustang. You probably have 2:73 rear gears. Throw some 20's on there and you get cut back even more. You'll have no ***** off the line, your speedo will be all fu.ked up and your ride will be rough as hell with 30 series rubber, believe me I have 35 series on an 18" wheel and that's bad enough. You will rub a little when you turn, but the back will clear no problems.

no 20's on a 94-04 mustang [:@]

18's fill out the wheel well just fine and won't add too much extra power robbing weight....NO DUBS [8D]
