I had a full bolt on with 3.90s and raced one.. before i got my headers, and I beat him pretty soundly... but then again i wasn't stock... i think it'd be a close race... with a stock 5 spd new edge

i was wanting to some performance racing tires but not sure which kind to pick from can anyone tell me what would be the best type of tires to run on at the track for a 98 cobra?

im pretty sure stock for stock a 94-98 cobra would blow away a 99-04 GT...ive seen it done at the drag strip for stock classes

94-95 cobra wouldn't have a chance, they only have 245 hp, they might be a little lighter but a newer car with a newer engine and 15 horses more would definetly have the advantage over it, now the 96-98 cobra had 305 hp and I've heard it's a drivers race but a mediocre driver in the cobra and a good driver in the stang i'd give advantage to cobra
