Not Starting Happly
Got a question for you guys. My brothers car is acting like it wont start. He said when he leaves it over night and tries to start it up in the morning it doesnt want to start. He also said when he does get it started and goes to class then returns to his car after class it starts right up no problems. The battery is 2 years old maybe older. The car has 90k+ miles my guess was its prob the battery or the starter... i just wanted to see what you guys thought. I told him to go ahead and replace the battery.

The battery might be draining fast and that could be why it starts up easily right after driving it.
I'd replace the battery and think about a typical tune up.

I had this same problem.. I'd park my car for a day or so, and when I went to start it, it was a PITA, and drained the battery..
Turned out to be my fuel pump on it's way out. It wasn't priming the system fast enough, so it took extra cranks...
Then again, my pump had 150k miles on it when it went out though.. Things happen..
