I was about to leave the house, I get in my car and put the key in to crank it, turn the key and nothing. I heard a click when i turned the key, then nothing. All that I could see was the theft light blinking and some kind of clicking sound that was coming from somewhere around the fuse box.

I pulled the negetave cable on the battery and let it sit about 5 min. Hooked it back up and everything is fine. It started up just fine.

Does this sound like some kind of anti-theft system malfunction. If not what could this be, I dont want to get 100 miles out of town later this week and have it crap out on me [&:]

When the theft system is active, it'll crank, but NEVER turn over... exact same thing as when you hold the gas pedal to the floor and try to start it.

Sounds like a fluke though, or maybe a relay going bad? Maybe a short, too... who knows, stupid electrical ghosts [:@]
