Ok so... I have a 2004 GT auto, and sometimes when I get on it, the motor revs up, but it doesn't catch and then when I let off it makes a nasty slipping noise... I only have 11600 miles, CAI, cat.back, and a diablosport programmer..... Could it be the programmer messing my converter, or can it just be that the converter should be replaced.... It does it every now and then but not frequently... It did it once or twice before I modded it, so I'm just thinkin about ditching the stock one....any ideas?

So, the previous owner beat it to hell so bad in 11k miles that your torque converter is already messed up? what a drag, if thats the case. That makes me hesitant to buy one now.

Although that isn't the case... ther is a slight chance that is could just be defective.

well I might just be upgrading my torque converter anyhow....
I allready have the
predator programmer
BBK CAI
Magnaflow magnapacks cat-back

I plan on installing

LT headers
cat-less xpipe
4.10's
and MAYBE nitrous.
also a set of slicks.

any suggestions of what I should do to my tranny?
